PAST EXPERIENCE
Education
At the core of our educational offerings is the desire to pursue a didactic approach strongly oriented around experiences, the intersection between the past and future, the stimulation of curiosity and critical awareness, and the promotion of a sense of belonging to our local, national, and international communities. The educational and instructional goal of Past Experience is to nourish well-informed future generations through the past. Our activities center around the territory of Etruscan, Roman, and medieval Populonia, a unique place where history can be relived. The extraordinary nature of our educational experiences are guaranteed by the guiding hands of professional archaeologists, the cultural mediators between past and present, who accompany citizens of the future in their discovery of a daily and contemporary past.
